Ringdahl Ambulance Service in Fergus Falls and Pelican Rapids, Minnesota provides emergency advanced life support (ALS) ambulance services to all of western Ottertail County. We staff three ALS crews in Fergus Falls and have an additional two ALS crews at our Pelican Rapids station.. Our primary crew are in-house 24 hours per day and ready for immediate response to 911 calls and requests from surrounding hospitals and ambulance services for critical care and ALS intercepts. We respond to aproximately 2,500 call per year in Ottertail County.

Fergus Falls, Minnesota is our base and main headquarters for Ringdahl EMS. We are located at 214 East Junius Ave in Fergus Falls. Our Pelican Rapids offices are located at 41 1st Street NW in Pelican Rapids, MN.

Our crews are nationally registered and state certified Paramedic, Intermediates, or Basic level EMTs. We are licensed through the State of Minnesota and our Paramedics are also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and many are trained as critical care technicians.

We respond to approximately 2,500 calls per year in Otter Tail County. We also provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) intercepts for area BLS ambulance services and assist them with mutual aid and critical care patient transports. Jamestown, ND On January 1, 2004, Jamestown Area Ambulance was introduced as the provider of Advanced Life Support Ambulance Services to Jamestown and the surrounding area, and fell under the working umbrella of Ringdahl EMS.

Our offices are located at 502 1st Avenue south in Jamestown, ND. From our new complex on main street in Jamestown, ND we have our ambulance offices, garage, and MedTrain EMS training center where our team responds to approximately 1,800 medical requests annually.

Our primary receiving facility for 911 emergency patients is Jamestown Area Hospital. We transfer many patient to hospitals in Fargo, ND and Bismark, ND and provide ALS intercept service for surrounding ambulance services when requested.

Our three on-call crews provide 24 hour, 7 day a week Advanced Life Support Paramedic response to a population of 22,000 within its service area. Our staff is activated by the 911 system and dispatched through Stutsman County Sheriff's Office.

In addition to ambulance operations we provide a full range of EMS training programs for services and hospitals in North Dakota through MedTrain. Lisbon, ND First Medic Ambulance Service of Ransom County began service in 1989. We provide service to the city of Lisbon and also to Ransom County, ND. First Medic Ambulance provides 24 hour, 7-days a week Advanced Life Support Paramedic Response to a population of 10,000 within its service area. Our staff is activated by the 911 system with statewide dispatching to speed response time to over 500 calls each year.

First Medic also provides medical support standby services for rodeos, auto races, county fairs and other special events. Customized medical support is available. We staff two ambulances around the clock. Our local fleet of 3 ambulances are equipped with advanced level supplies and medications.

We work closely with the Lisbon Area Health Services and hosital where we transport a majority of our emergency patients. Critical trauma and tertiary care transfers are taken to Fargo, ND.
