We are accepting applications for our next course which starts in the Fall of each year. Apply in the spring or summer for consideration for admission to our program. A personal interview and completed applications are required prior to starting our program.
Clinicals are tracked by FISDAP online and our clinical hospital and EMS coordinators. All instructors are seasoned pre-hospital EMS providers and certified PHTLS, ACLS, PALS, and DOT instructors.
Clinical experience is required for each student. These clinicals are performance based. ETA has clinical affiliation agreements with many partner hospitals and EMS organizations in North Dakota and Minnesota. Clinicals are logged on FISDAP online and monitored by the course instructor/coordinator.
Successful completion of our Emergency Paramedic Course will qualify students to take State and National EMT -Paramedic examinations. These consist of both practical and written examinations. The participant will also be certified in PHTLS, ACLS & PALS upon successful completion of the 13 month training program.
Textbooks, materials, lab and application fees, and tuition information is available by calling our Minnesota or North Dakota training sites. Students that successfully complete the didactic and ALL clinical components of the course will be eligible to take the National Registry practical and written exams. All testing fees are paid by the student candidate.

Alfredo Altamirano, PA-C, MPAS (Prairie Ridge Health System - Morris, MN) recently joined our staff of instructors and provides an exceptional look at anatomy, physiology, hands-on heart and lung dissection lab, cardiology, respiratory disease processes and associated body systems review of medical conditions and much more for students of our paramedic program. Many other experts in their field provide guest lectures, discussions, and clinical experience to our students.
