Emergency Training Associates - Paramedic Certification Program is offered throughout North Dakota and Minnesota. If you are a smaller rural service and searching for additional Paramedics for your service, consider "growing your own" paramedics through this 13 month blended course. 1 day/week classroom via our on-line computer meeting spot, and 1 weekend per month face-to-face skills labs and practice.

Since 1993 ETA has been delivering high quality EMS education programs. ETA is licensed by the Minnesota EMS Regulatory Board and the North Dakota Department of Health EMS Division to provide EMS education programs in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Emergency Training Associates Paramedic program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
Our Paramedic Program Educational Goal:
To prepare competent entry-level Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains," with or without exit points at the Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate, and/or Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, and/or First Responder levels.
Students must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Current National or state EMT certification.
Current CPR certification.
Criminal background check.
Clinical experience is required for each student. These clinicals are performance based. ETA has clinical affiliation agreements with many partner hospitals and EMS organizations in North Dakota and Minnesota. Clinicals experience is recorded online using FISDAP.
Successful completion of our Emergency Paramedic Course will qualify students to take State and National EMT -Paramedic examinations. These consist of both practical and written examinations. The participant will also be certified in PHTLS, ACLS & PALS upon successful completion of the 13 month training program.
Tuition and fees information is available by calling our North Dakota office. Students that successfully complete the didactic and ALL clinical components of the course will be eligible to take the National Registry practical and written exams. All testing fees are paid by the student candidate.
