Welcome to Ringdahl EMS

Ringdahl EMS is a collaboration of four ambulance companies in Minnesota and North Dakota, Emergency Training Associates (ETA) our educational organization, and PARA-CORP an all-risk medical management contracting service. Ringdahl EMS provides professional advanced life support (ALS) ambulance services in Fergus Falls and Pelican Rapids, Minnesota and in Jamestown and Lisbon, North Dakota.

Emergency Medical Training Associates - ETA provides a full range of emergency care educational programs and classes, customized training, and business and community safety and first aid education. We provide advanced level certification classes in ACLS, PALS, healthcare provider CPR, EMT and Paramedic certification. The education can be done at your site or at one of our EMS education facilities in Minnesota or North Dakota. Next Paramedic class begins in October 2012 and we are taking applications now!

How to Save a Life (TM)

We welcome your comments and the opportunity to visit your business or organization to present a 1 hour FREE presentation called "How to Save a Life" (TM). This program highlights the important critical steps in an emergency that everyone should know. How to perform immediate first aid, "hands-only" CPR, how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED), and what to do in those first few minutes before the ambulance arrives. EMS Week 2012

During EMS week we recognize the important service that all of our First Responders, EMT's, Paramedics, Physicians, Nurses, Dispatchers, Law Enforcement, Fire, and emergency personnel provide to our communities. Equally important is the role of the community members in working in partnership with our EMS agencies to provide the highest level of care and know what to do in the first critical minutes in an emergency.

Ringdahl EMS and Stevens County EMS in conjunction with the SCAA-Western MN Chapter, are providing a FREE Hands-Only CPR and AED classes at five of their locations in Minnesota and North Dakota as part of EMS Week 2012. The ambulance companies are providing instructors, refreshments, and equipment to train the public in Hands-Only CPR and how to use an AED.

FREE Hands-Only CPR and AED - Wednesday May 23, 2012 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at these locations:

Fergus Falls, MN at Ringdahl Ambulance - 214 East Junius Ave.
Pelican Rapids, MN at Ringdahl Ambulance - 41 1st St SW
Morris, MN at Stevens County EMS - 209 S Hy 9.
Jamestown, ND at Jamestown Ambulance - 502 1st Ave S
Lisbon, ND at First Medic Ambulance - 1100 Oak Street

In addition, Ringdahl EMS and Stevens County EMS have donated a new Philips OnSite Automatic External Defibrillator and will give it away to a lucky participant at one of the class locations. To be eligible: you must LIKE US on facebook, attend the training on May 23, 2012 at one of the five locations, sign up at 7:00 PM for the drawing, and you MUST be present at 8:00 PM for the drawing to win. Even if you do not win the AED, you still win because you learned a life-saving skill and may just save someones life! Everyone should learn CPR and how to use an AED.
